Some weeks are destined to provide us with disappointing news, and it certainly looks as though this is one of them. The pound may end up with a challenging time ahead, thanks to the results achieved this week.

After last week’s good performance on the currency markets, could the British pound do the same again this week? Was it too much to hope for to assume it could replicate a good week once again?
