Last week we saw how low the British pound could go on the currency markets. The real question now was whether it could go any lower, or whether it would start to claw back some of the previous losses we’d seen.

It has been very difficult to find any real good news for the British pound of late. While it is hard to get a whole slew of good results, we have found some more appealing ones this week.

Ever since the Brexit vote came in, the British pound has had some clear struggles. But would this week produce some better results than we have got used to seeing over recent weeks?

Some trading weeks are memorable for good reasons. This would not be one of them. In fact, it was a disappointment all round for the pound.
