The financial times is renowned world wide for its coverage of business and financial events. This is both in terms of data and in terms of editorial analysis. Within the FT website there is a large and comprehensive market data section that deals with all active trading markets from equities, such as normal stocks and shares, to commodities, such as oil and coffee.

The website itself offers none of the actual currency trading offered by some sites. This is a simple currency conversion site, with relevant news articles to keep visitors abreast of the current issues.

XE.com bills itself as the worlds favourite currency site.

“Universal” currency converter is a bold claim, but one that EX makes, nevertheless. I thought I would try to catch it out with some less-common currencies: Azerbaijan Menat, Mongolian Tughrik, Oman Rials, but when scrolling through the list of choices it's plain to see that not only is every currency I could possibly think of here, there is plenty of stuff that you would not have expected.
