If you have been watching the currency converter lately you will know the two have been tussling for a while now. Just when you think one of them has got the edge over the other one, it swings back in the opposite direction.

Whenever you look at the currency performance of the British pound against any other currency you choose, you always want the pound to start from a position of strength. At least then you can hope for it to continue. If it starts from a position of weakness you will see that it has a mountain to climb before it can even begin to show strength.

The company is known as the Crown Currency Exchange and it was run by a husband and wife team in Cornwall. Sometimes with certain currency pairings you will see lots of little movements up and down, to and fro, throughout the month. This was the case with these two currencies as we progressed to the 13th, when the British pound closed out the day with a rate of 71.029. Just a small increase, but it went in our favour nonetheless.

How Did The British Pound React Against The Euro In July?

It started off with a rate of 1.2233 to close out June with, but unfortunately this didn’t help us as the month of July got off to a poor start with a drop to 1.2118. Was this the way the whole month was going to progress on the currency converter, with the Euro taking the main stage?



Will The Canadian Dollar Prove Too Strong Against The British Pound?

This looked as if it was going to be an interesting tussle between the two currencies, and it certainly proved to be just that. The 13th of the month may be unlucky for some, and as it turned out it was unlucky for the British pound. It fell back to 1.5602 on that very day.
