Some trading weeks are memorable for good reasons. This would not be one of them. In fact, it was a disappointment all round for the pound.

It would be a tough ask this week for the British pound to really achieve anything of note. Indeed, as the figures reveal, a few good days would not be enough to get the results we wanted overall.

After the Brexit vote became clear, it has been a tough path the British pound has had to tread. While we are still only a couple of weeks out from the vote, the pound has dropped steadily in value thus far.
